Artist's Comments
Having done similar drawings using comic-style characters, I wanted to try doing a digital painting of a paleo subject. In this case, I picked my favorite little aye-aye dinosaur, Epidendrosaurus. At less than 6 inches long, it's the smallest dinosaur, though it might be a juvenile. It's sitting on a mossy ginkgo branch, a modern tree whose realtives would have housed these little scansors.
